Lamps to leave Chelsea?

FRANK LAMPARD is reluctantly poised to quit Chelsea after contract talks between him and the club sensationally collapsed.
Heartbroken Lamps wanted to see out his career at Stamford Bridge.
But he is now likely to complete a move to either Barcelona, Real Madrid or Juventus — unless Chelsea make a dramatic and unexpected last-ditch attempt to keep him.
But one Stamford Bridge insider warned: "That is highly unlikely. This looks like the end of the road for Frank and Chelsea." Lampard could even start to buy himself out of his existing deal under a new FIFA ruling — as he has served more than three years of the contract — and make himself available for a knockdown £9million. The news comes after an emergency board meeting failed to agree a new offer for the England midfielder. Lampard had gone public on his desire to stay at Chelsea but his hopes of a five-year deal look shattered.
